Hawaiian Burgers

Serves: 4
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cook Time: 20-30 min.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef (or substitute ground turkey)
  • 1 can Pineapple Rings

Hawaiian Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp. cup mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation:
Divide meat into 8 thin patties. Place pineapple rings on 4 of the patties and place remaining patties over them. Seal edges. (Refrigerating for 1 hour will make them hold together better on the grill) Cook slowly on grill.

Sauce: Blend ingredients for sauce in saucepan, simmering slowly for 2-3 minutes. Serve sauce over hamburgers or on hamburger buns.
